Why should you join?
Organized dentistry offers a wide variety of support services and products that serve the practicing dentist. When a dentist joins his or her local society, three distinct membership categories are accessed: the local, state and national organizations.
A few benefits of membership in Corydon Palmer Dental Society:
General Membership Meetings: Four times a year — during the luncheon break of Continuing Education programs and at our annual meeting — members are brought up to date on activities of the Board of Trustees and committees, news from our region as well as the Ohio and American dental associations, and upcoming events and programs.
Continuing Education Programs: Four or five times a year, we bring in some of the nation’s top speakers to discuss new methods and techniques in the profession. Vendors join us to present the newest in products and technologies. Participants take home six hours of continuing education to fulfill licensure renewal requirements and will have had a day full of education and camaraderie. It’s a win/win situation!
Newsletters: Members receive inciDENTALS, the Corydon Palmer quarterly newsletter, that helps to keep them informed about activities of the Board, recent and upcoming events, and the achievements of others in the local dental community.
Mentorship: The membership committee’s mentoring subcommittee plans events to welcome new members and make them comfortable. The committee will go to great lengths to assist with any questions, and the new member will be connected to other practicing dentists and specialists through committee, social, and educational activities.
Membership offers all pros, no cons. So join us today!
